WATCH: LeBron James Rips Nuggets Defense, Caps Off With a Thunderous Dunk

Los Angeles Lakers superstar, LeBron James, has arguably had the longest prime in league history. James turned 36 this season but is yet to show any signs of decline in his game. At this age, most NBA players are either on their last legs or have already retired from the league.

But King James is still putting up solid numbers and leading the LA Lakers to another excellent season. In fact, he is in the race to win the regular season MVP amidst young guns like Joel Embiid and Luka Doncic.

So far, the purple and gold are 21-6 this year and are facing off against the Denver Nuggets to further improve their record tonight.

Last season, the two sides met in the Western Conference Finals, where the Lakers came out on top. As a result, this is one of the most touted matchups in the season. The game has been exciting till now, with the Nuggets leading 73-61 at halftime.

LeBron James displays his skill set against the Denver Nuggets

While Denver is leading right now, they still have no answer for LeBron James. LBJ scored 19 points in the first half along with a skillful play right before the buzzer. James ripped through the Nuggets’ defense and slammed the ball hard at the rim.

Looking at this play, there is hardly anyone who can say that James is 36 years old. LBJ looks in great touch tonight and if the Lakers want to win the game, they need him to lead the team from the front.

Can the Lakers make a comeback in this game? We will find out soon.

Is LeBron James still the best player in the league?

There is no doubt that LeBron has been the face of the league for as long as we can remember. However, as he is turning old, it’s only a matter of time before the King hangs up his sneakers for good.

Although the day might be near, LBJ is still arguably the best player in the league. He has led his team to a phenomenal start and if they can continue this form, it is quite plausible for the Lakers to repeat this season.
